Hello today In class we have been doing SOL. You are probably asking what SOL Is. SOL Is student organise learning we had to answer 3 questions  about matariki we had to make our own question. Amazing fractions

In Mr Bells maths today we learnt to do fractions with different denominators. A denominator is the bottom number in a fraction, it tells you how many parts there are in the fraction e.g in  3/4 the 4 is the denominator and a numerator is the top number and it tells you how much you need to shade in.e.g in the fraction 3/4 we would shade in 3 parts.
